Read here (http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9588_22-5368302.html) about the progress of Firefox against Microsoft in the IE dominated browser market.
TL.
It's concerning to be honest, that Microsoft haven't taken more notice or done anything much with IE in the last few years. A few years ago it was clear that Microsoft planned to control the means for accessing the web on as many computers they owned. They pushed IE agressively and broke the function of other web applications (i.e. Netscape and Java) in an attempt to ensure everyone accessed the web using their browser. I just wonder why they don't see the web browser as something worth developing or protecting any more? What other plans do they have?
