I got the MX1000  but it is only beta support as of now. However, hopefully I will get more support in future releases (fingers crossed)

I love it. Really responsive - I can't believe it is wireless - you can shake the mouse left and right as fast as you want and the cursor just keeps with it - no sloppiness or mouse lag.

Just taken back my MX1000 lazer  :(

I didnt have much luck with it at all..... i found it too slow and a little bit laggy

Im now a proud owner of the mx510 and it seems more responsive

Mmm. Mine is very responsive - wonder if you got a duff one or something was interfering with signal?

Yeh could well have been a signal issue.....it felt almost like the battery was flat

Just a quick test for you....

move your mouse from side to side on the mouse mat .....the faster i moved the mouse the less the cursor moved   ...almost like my movements were too quick for the lazer to pick up ..... the better-half says im fast but not that fast

Tried that. As fast as I move the mouse the cursor keeps up with it and that's with the battery needing charging (only 1 bar showing)

I think you had a signal issue or a duff mouse m8

I have the MX500 and also decided to buy the MX1000.

I have also returned it due to it's Querks.

I  like my mouse on full sensitivity (from getting used to the boomslang) but when i turn this up above half (using the MX1000's own settings) it starts to miss points and overshoot.
I had increase speed thing off..... And old Logitech software removed.

Eventually gave up and returned it replacing it with the new MX510.

Which is no different to the 500 ......but it is a nice blue colour :D

I was thinking of buying myself a mx510, but then I saw they were doing a laser mouse & I figured I'd hold on & see if there gonna do a corded version (anyone know if theres gonna be a corded version btw?)

indeed, i am getting one for xmas. Except that i will be able to use it before then i hope!!! As long as i have enough to open on the day. Ive borrowed one and i found it pretty amazing. 1 nights playing has gotten my convinced. I guess it depends on your own playing style?
