I do presume that if I buy Half-life II then I'll have the source files I need to play CS right?

Amazon have it on at a pretty good price £26.99

Amazon supersaver delivery usually isnt great they seem to hold on to your item for a few days before delivering just so its slower than playing for next day. so if in hurry might have to pay for delivery or go else where! if not its a good price

i usually use play.com for games £29.99 there though

You will have the bulk of them, you should only need to download the updates. Failing that I could post you the the gfc files for css.

I think thats about as cheap as it gets, but are you really bothered about playing it asap. Its released on a Tuesday, so i doupt i will be able to play it much befor the weekend.

Pen, I think you have everything for CS:S then.
Another question from me. If someone buys HL2, do they also get normal CS?

i dont think you do. I think you only get the full back catalogue if you buy the gold package on steam. I dont know about the collectors adition though.

the gold & silver package comes with the back catalog available, bronze package is just hl2 & cs:s

right click on your steam thingy bottom right & click on browse games for the full list of junk available through steam if your intersted enough.

Just get it through steam then you get it straight away, and can always make backups of it :)
