is this a good monitor? i like its dot pitch of .27 but im not shure about the refresh r8s what do u lot think r they ok.
ps. my dads buying me a monitor 4 xmas, gotta b under 100quid really.

I got a 17" CRT monitor from dabs.com for under £100. It seems to be fine.
I think the one you selected looks very good, 70KHz, 0.27mm DP, 1280x1024 res are all about as good as I've seen on a 17" CRT.
The only thing with CRTs as I was told before is pin cushioning. It will happen but you can alter this anyway. The screen needs adjusting every month or so to get it perfect on most monitors aparts from LCD.
Go for it I say, in time for xmas :D

No problems, I swear like a gangsta rapper myself, must be my rough upbringing! And my monitor doesn't change colour! 8)
