Title: win98 thumbnail view on CDs
Post by: Wordan on November 21, 2004, 11:29:38 PM
Somebody made a real stink about how digital photography isnt worth it because of problems viewing photos on friends computers from a CD

I havent used windows 98 in years. There is no built in way to efficently view photos on a CD(or in any other place). You cant inable thumbnail view on media you cant write to. When you can, it is increadibly slow because it uses some big clunky program like internet explorer to make the thumbnails(espically considering its usually a slow computer)

Anybody know of a small program that can view folders with thumbnails? Not a fully featured photo cataloging program like googles pacasa, ACDSee etc (I dont know whats common, I'v used 'windows explorer' and 'windows picture and fax viewer' for ever).

Iv had a very long search but not found anything.

If all else fails, any simple programs to make web gallerys form folders? besides photoshop
