...I must announce that my server is completely TANGOED :(
The RAID controller no longer wishes to recognize the disks. It says that the several of the disks are "Defunct" and it will not let me set them to "Online". Funny how all those disks went FUBAR at the same time :(
So, until i can get either a new RAID controller or some new disks to try it will be offline :(
Anybody got a spare IBM ServeRAID just lying around that they could let me have ;)
not IBM, but I do have a couple of scsi raid cards sitting in a drawer gathering dust.
I'll dig out the model numbers tomorrow to see if they are of use. Oh, also have some scsi hdd's to go with it too. All small drives, about 9GB each I believe but there are six of them.

What do you want for the disks Gandy? I may be interested in RAID card but disks may allow me to do a restore from tape if existing RAID card works.

With much thanks to Gandy (who was able to supply me with some suitable disks at a very reasonable price) I am chuffed to announce that the servers are running again.
I'm going to try and dig out some unusual maps for CS, CZ and CS:S and set them up for a bit of fun. I'll let you all know what I find and when it's ready :)
