i must admit they were excellent...but a million quid?

They were impressive though. Im still waiting to see what the other countries did.
In Sweden all the public fireworks got canceled because of the tsunami.

That appears to be a more reasonable approach so long as th emoney then went to the appeal fund. But if they'd already bought them then my fatalistic side says 'go ahead, have some fun'.
