Dead Men Walking

Having been let down by the inability of VALVe to release any updates to VAC within the last nine months, we've decided to resort back to the *only* currently updated anti-cheat solution namely Cheating Death.

It will be running on Razer (our public server) in 'optional' mode for today but will be switched to 'required' tomorrow.

The client is a small download available from here. (http://www.unitedadmins.com/cdeath.php)

Please remember to start CD *before* you start Steam.

Tryed the link, it didn't work for me....
I can't update my CD aswell.
Anything else I can try?

Hmm sounds like it doesn't like your hacks!
If I were you I'd completely uninstall CS and HL and then re-install it. Then you should be able to get CD loaded.  :narnar:

I thought that CD had been hacked and was worse than useless? Or have they patched it?

I know this is not anti cheat but rather than make another thread. I stumbled(for I was pissed) upon this and wondered if it would be any use.


Here is how to ban AWP & SG550 from your server
by bi0h4z4rd from ZODiAC

Here are the steps in order:
1. Login to FTP and go to directory: /root/cstrike/scripts/
2. Rename weapon_awp.ctx to banweapon_awp.ctx.
3. Rename weapon_g3sg1.ctx to banweapon_g3sg1.ctx
4. Rename weapon_sg550.ctx to banweapon_sg550.ctx

No Restart is needed. Anyone who tries to buy it will get deducated money but not get the weapon. This is for servers that have RULES about using AutoSnipers. Think of the deduction as a Penalty.

I feel Anti Cheat isnt really needed within the community or on the Public server. [Ok, so we have stuck with valve on the privates] But thing is today theres just as much cheats for CD then there are for VAC.

Just need a group of decent admins, which we have. :D

If someone looks dodgy watch them, dont like it, get oppinion? Take steam id :P BANNORZ !!

Servers seem really empty atm now alot play Knightonline :(
