drip drip drip......
DuVeL here:
I'm babysitting Brian tonight and my brother and his wife have gone bowling.
So I'm installing the patches and will let you know if I can set up an account easily from up here.
Put in the CD, installed it, patched up...it's all good.
Need some back up maybe tomorrownight.
There's a new one out I think
Patch 1279 is out!
what size is patch?
The autoupgrade downloaded patch1279.zip, 825kb, to KO install dir.
The autoupg didn't apply it (didn't seem like it anyway) and did nowt for ages (30mins).
I aborted it and tried again.
Same thing.
This also happened after I installed KO client last week, it downloaded patches then didn't seem to make attempts to apply them and start the game.
So I extract patch1279.zip which contained knightonline.exe to the KO install dir and ran it direct, bypassing LAUNCHER.EXE.
Game started OK.
Anyone else have the same probs?
nope, none of those, only problems I have is random crashes of my pc as & whenever I play just about any game other than cs.
The patch download goes allright here, never any problems. It allways does it automaticly.
It took me 4 minutes donwloading and then it was automaticly installed

Clearly hanuuuga had difficulty expressing himself and just quoted Thulsa. As I am still none the clearer about what the intention of the message was, I have edited the forum permissions to make sure that only registered members can post.
