Title: Tactics for Matches.
Post by: Benny on December 20, 2002, 11:09:43 AM
Just a thought, but having a position assigned to a player (which I think happens anyway), but keeping the same player in the postion throughout the match, then in the event of not being able to get a voice message out....Benny's dead where was he? can't remeber he was there last round but was he elsewhere this round?

If you know where omeones position was, you always get a heads up first.

I think that makes sense.

Yes this works on some maps e.g. dust2. On aztec this is not possible though. The spawnpoints are spread out and we need to apply the closest from spawn rule. If we don't we will not get there in time. This is not a problem though. As we know that we should have say 2 top, 2 bridge and 1 middle we can just use the radar to see where one guy is missing.

Yep, that's kinda work in progress if you know what I mean.  For the latest taccies refer to the map specific tactics section of this forum....
