Hello fellas,
I have this problem when my computer starts up:
Error:
A skin file which is needed to start this application is not available.
I haven't deleted ot installed anything lately, any idea what it could be?
What are skin files?
With no knowledge whatsoever I would say that an XP skin, as in your different styles that make XP pretty, is corrupted (XP is known to take bribes) Only a guess mind.
:withstupid: or media player, what version you useing, think 7 had a flaw to allow nasties in. :glare:
A long shot ...
Do you start Steam at startup and is it looking for a non-existant skin?
He does have Steam from startup yes.
the error is still there <_<
Try giving it the missing skin.........?

What is a skin file?????
run up MSCONFIG, turn off things on startup to attempt to track the problem down.
