I left the server in disgust tonight. We were playing Aztec and twice people stopped after going through the doors completely blocking it for everyone else.
What the TANGO is so difficult to understand about DO NOT BLOCK THE BLOODY DOORS!

As my old man would say: "Calmenate yourself" DO NOT BLOCK THE BLOODY DOORS! is a tricky one. :D
Ahh the old blocking complaint. Sometimes it is very valid and Im sure this time it was (as it sounds like it from your description), however, today it seems to be a blatant excuse by the masses who cant take loosing or being killed.
I mean, the amount of public servers where people have gone off on one for players "blocking", its almost as if, now that most gamers have broadband, they cant complain about loosing due to ping or lag or packet loss, so have moved onto the next best thing they can conjure up.
I mean, people run through a corridor, everyone tries to rush but the person infront starts to be attacked and falls back but is "blocked" by the other players and gets fragged (usually me :D ), but I dont complain. Then the next round everyone complains at this person for "blocking" when infact its the entire teams fault that the situation happened because they stopped that player from getting cover and hence, being fragged.
People these days huh ?
*No offence ment at anyone, its just a general observation of the public - the kind of people who are just like the dood on //www.owned.nl ;)
But why would u need to fall back if ur rushing ?
I think the whole point is the first person gets pumped full of it then the rest are able to fan out! This causing pressure on the defending team, whelming them.
When a RUSH is called, If the first person is to 'scared' to rush out he may block a point (with the rest of the team behind )defenders maybe able to focus their fire on that point then everyone gets pumped! ( shot through wood dd )
Rates is a better complaint :P
A rushing strategy is very different to other non-rush strategies.
Blocking on a rush and particularly on de_aztec is a highly annoying and dangerous action. Double doors on de_aztec is a known HE meeting place for CTs. If you block in the double doors there you will (1) be hit hard by multiple HEs and (2) will be stuck in a hail of gunfire aimed into the very narrow gap within which you are now stuck and dying. If the rush is called then get through the doors and CLEAR THE AREA so that your compatriates do not die needlessly behind you.
It's nothing to do with people finding lame excuses for their poor play, it has everything to do with people not executing the strategy called at spawn.
TL.
And everything to do with people blocking the second time when it had already been pointed out on the previous round <_<
So no, it's nothing to do with losing or sour grapes, ask around, I'm first man dead usually

Yep, he's usually dead first ;)

erm no, that's me :(
I used to be guilty of it a little on my old connection (the sudden burst into combat would lag me out) til I learned to hang back til most people were through. However, now I have a "real" connection I like the noble charge through the doors. It almost makes me want to re-bind my old QRGR war cry.
However, as I see it blocking is a fact of life in CS, there's very little you can do about it. If you emerge from the doors and see you've got a decent chance at taking down a couple of CTs it's very hard to resist taking a quick pop at them.
