QuoteApplication for Membership of Charlie Company

Proposer: Squ0nk
Seconded by: Whitey
Seconded by: Jas

Your gaming name: RizZy
Your real name: Martin Reed
Age: 30
Sex: Male
Country: England
Date of birth: 17/12/1974

Please tell us a bit about yourself. For example, how long you have been playing CS/CZ/CS:S, what interests do you have outside the playing of computer games, what do you do (work/education etc) and any other information you feel would be helpful in order for our members to get to know you.

I started playing CS not long after 1.3 came out when one of my online firends suggested I tried it out, so I went out & brought the Half Life generations pack & off I went for a bit of training with him.
Outside of gaming in my spare time I play American Football for Redditch Arrows ( //www.redditcharrows.com ), this year will be my 3rd season & usually spend the rest of the week getting over the training/match injuries or just with friends (when there wives will let them out to play) I like to watch footy & generally most sports, & if i'm not doing any of that I'm usually sat infront of my pc. I work for Disney in there warehouse driving narrow ailse & reach trucks. I can't think of anything else to put about me, if you want to know something, add me on msn & ask.

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?

CS played properly.

What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?

Someone who plays the game for the enjoyment of it win or lose & plays in the spirit the game was originally designed to be played.

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?

All of it.

Which do not best describe you?

Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.

I like dMw, how it works, things that it does together (lans & tourneys etc) the people that are in it are more like a group of friends than anything else, the fact that it's a community that acts like one rather than a bunch of people that just happen to gather in the same place. I'd like the opportunity to add a part of myself to the community be it either in representing dMw in matches or in other ways that may be available.

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?

I'm friendly, approachable, a good team player (not just in the match sense of team I meen)

Have you ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did you leave?

I was in A.M.C (Allied Marine Corps) & -[K.M]- (Kabuki-Mono) I was in A.M.C. for around 18 months, it was mainly a Aliens V's Preditor clan. I left with a friend so we could start our own CS clan. -[K.M]- lasted for nearly 2 years I believe, it died when I was away from CS for a while playing some rpg, the other JCL decided the clan would stop playing CS & wait for CS:S, all the members left & that was that really, we'd got to Division 1 in E.D. just before the colapse of the clan.

Which other games do you play?

Currently installed on my pc is - CS, CZ, CS:S, HL2, Dawn of war, NFS:U 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Madden NFL 2005, KOL & Vampire the mascerade.

Do you have any questions for the Admins? (we will endeavour to answer any questions prior to assessing your application)

nope, I think I've pestered you all enough already

The completed form should be forwarded by PM to the Charlie Company member who has agreed to propose your application to the Community’s Admins. The Proposer will then forward your application to the Admins for consideration.

'YES' from me.

I've seen enough of Rizzy to know he's a fine TCS player. His skill is impressive but what's more impressive is the fact that, although probably capable of out-shooting most of us,  I've never seen him play the 'lone gunman'. That's a credit to the man.

Yes. Every so often I get the exquisite experience of killing him. It's almost as good as killing DA.

Yes for me as well. Probably the best the of the newer members to adapt to TCS and play it in an exemplary way. He will also be a very good addition when it comes to matches.

I know this reply is too late, but I would say Yes we do need the feedback.

Not everything can be learned from a bunch of lazy good for nothing geeks otherwise known as Admins who may have accidentally slipped with their mouse hand and voted yes by mistake ;)

Seriously though, the system is the system.  It's there for a reason and we ought to follow it or we set dangerous precedent.
