Folks I think we (all of us) have started to slide down a slippery slope here and so at the risk of upsetting people I thought we ought to discuss it here in private.
But first, can we ALWAYS post K:D scores and enter them onto the availability website please? Now to business:
I am all too guilty of 'doubting the parentage of the opposition' during the match when I have just been killed with what I feel is an unnecessarily skilled or no-look headshot, but I think we need to be more careful with the choice of our words when we post a match report. We would not accept constant accusations of 'cheating' from any member on our servers and whilst I accept that matches are a little different, it does us no favours when we post a report that says we think the opposition cheated. As I said, I have done this myself on occasion so I am in the wrong here too, but I think we are now doing this too regularly.
By all means please describe in considerable detail some of the shots that killed you or team mates, but let's leave it to the reader to infer anything else. We have no proof of anything and therefore anything we say is speculation. It does NOT fit with our 'honourable' approach when we refer to other 'dubious skills'. Post match reports should be "Just the facts Mam" along with a sprinkling of humour.
So, from this high-latency haz-bean (who actually enjoyed last night's match despite the slaughter), "Let's keep it clean folks!".
Thanks.

I agree, facts only, the match was indeed fun, but my list was purely factual, with no implication other than they were pretty darn quick off the mark. They may have been on speed :D .
I had a loko at the screenshots on UKCSL, no idea what they aim to show, most of the time it was someone at the beginning of round with the team score up or someone looking at a wall. I would rather a screen shot tool took a snapshot as someone shot another player and killed them. There were an alarming number of shots from Boing covering critical choke points as CT but aiming a few inches into the wall which we weree about to run round. No accusations here but it was one of thoses unbelievable HS after HS matches. I'd hate to think ho wquick the Div 1/ Premier teams are, that scares the hell out of me.
Totally agree.
Time to get back on our pedestal and remember how we got there.
The two matches so far have been very non-div 5 in their character. Both clans belong in higher divisions or not there at all. The first match that were close was more luck than skill tbh. I am welcoming that UKCSL are going back to CD as Valves cheat defence is a joke.
Last nights match was dodgy, period. I have played with Bo!ng on numerous occasions and had some friends in that clan during my N42 days, I have never seen anyone as skilled as Sm00 last night in that clan. It was headshot after headshot and as albert said through corners, boxes, and walls. Look at the screenshots from each half and you will see that all the other Bo!ng players have similar scores as we do or even lower k:d. Sm00 had 3.0 average and the rest were around 1.0 or below. He won the match and it only takes one.
Regarding entering scores. I did it today as I was dead tired last night and properly pissed off (DA, DuVeL and Sm00).
I don't disagree with your interpretation of the match Sadako, I suffered the same fate on most rounds. My comments were not meant to be aimed at you or the lack of K:D scores from last night, it's just that you were the most recent one that prompted me to post. Re the cheating, I think it is right that we discuss it openly, but only within this section of the forum. I just think that it does not good to us as a clan to discuss it in a wider forum.
