Smite (Smitethee) - Warrior (Nnight Elf)
Sadako (Sadako) - Hunter (Night Elf)
Squonk (Jobok) - Rouge (Night Elf)
JAS (JAS) - Druid (Night Elf)
Onion (Hunterer) - Hunter (Dwarf ?)
DarkAngel (Darkangels) - Mage (Human)
I now have a Level9 warrior, named Rez on this server.
But this might be a silly qustion. why is DMW split over 2 servers?
Because everyone in their rush to achieve fame, glory, money, sex and Level 2 jumped onto the first server they could get their hands on. :lmfao:

Make that 3!! if anyone is interested in pvp server i have a paladin on 'deathwing'
It is indeed a sad story.
We have two families and a psycho nutter. Smite and Co probably entered the WOW first and set themselves up on Aszune as PvE servers are much of a muchness and all the same. Just pick a number. Several other people pitched into those servers too.
Just to be a pedantic git I plumped for a role play server and Chimpy etc came onboard. By the time the rush to buy, install and enter the world had ended we had all created characters. And basically no one is willing to kill off their alter ego, loose all the leveling and start again on the other server. Plus role players (like me) only have two or three servers to choose from that are tagged as role play. And Azsune isn't one of them.
Then we have Onion who is a bit of a thug and just wants to kill people, although I'd have thought CS would have catered for that. :)
I know these role play recommendation is getting a bit tired now, but if anyone on Azsune sets up a new character (maybe you want to be a gnome or something) try out the Argent Dawn server for a bit. The human and elf lands especially have loads going on, joke telling competitions in the bars, gambling on who can kill the most kobolds in five minutes and such like, as well as being able to walk up to Chimpy's warlock and make disparaging remarks about the size of his wand!

Disparage ye not. 'Tis a mighty wooden stave that I like to polish around the campfire on cold lonely nights, and walk into towns scaring little children with it

lol :lmfao: you have me all wrong! many moons ago i use to play ultima online which use to be pvp to the extreme that they could kill you and loot everything on you!!! I wasnt into pking (player killing) but the fact that i could be killed was a buzz you would here a person coming and the heart would go! Are they going to get you? it was the uncertainty on none pvp its all to predictable.when they made ultima online basically none pvp was the day it got boring even though i only ever killed one person!!
so there you go not a 'thug that likes killing people' just a normal person that likes the unpredicability human players add.And after all this is warcraft the game has always been 'alliance v horde' and was made to be pvp with additional pussy servers for people that cry when killed :lmfao:
bridgette on agent dawn
jeebus on azune (thought id give the priest a go cos we didnt have 1 in the party) lvl6 and counting !!
Damn and blast.
TeaElle, Human Mage on Aszune.
Thought about playing CS but servers empty :(
Then thought about being a the Priest but someone just did that, so went for Mage.
TL.
welcome to the server m8.

I seriously fancy a crack at a PvP server in the future. Right now I just want to explore and build characters. A PvE server just lets me play without the added effect of getting ganked just before I complete a quest. When I'm a big tough MMORPGer I'll come play with the grown-ups :)
Silly question, is Azsune a PvP server. may be because i haven't left my back yard yet. but i haven't seen and PvP yet.

Azune is a normal server which does both PvP and RP.
I have been challenged 3 times now and declined all (except DA and i wupped his butt....once i changed from the sheep he turned me into :D) PvP isn't done very often that i have seen but the option is always there if you just fancy it.
I have killed a horde mage two times.
Jamoe - Lvl 5 Paladin

Gandy,
Have a real look at other characters before you progress any higher.
The Warrior for me is incredibly boring compared to the other characters i have played and i just wished i tried a few out at the very start. Also read up on the WOW website for the abilities of ALL other characters.
The Warior isn't a big damage dealer he just takes all the hits/aggro so that a group can take all the big shots.
I have a lvl 49 Warrior, 24 Hunter and a 13 Rogue
Both the rogue and hunter are far more fun compared to the Warrior who is very limited in what he can do.
i agree.
i have a level 40 warrior not doing a lot. i now play most of the time as a hunter
My L40 character is a Mage - and it's been good enough to entertain me - I haven't felt the need to try anything else, but Mages work best in a team as whilst the can deal out massive damage, their armour i spaper thin. Pally seems to be pretty good too though - they can deal out some damage and can also dish out some healing. Just need to save enough Gold to buy my horse now......
TL.
Think carefully about the Hunter class. In the early game they are great solo characters and can quest alone quite happily. In the later game and in PvP they can be hard to play well.
I don't know how much PvP or raid plays a part in normal PvE realms but on Role Play servers they are an integral part of role play and Guild life. Hunters don't naturally lend themselves to PvP and you have to develope a very specific style of play to use their strengths and aviod their weaknesses. Personally I wouldn't play any other class at the moment but you have to really want to be one to enjoy them later in the game.
Paladins are a nice choice as they have good melee and some excellent spells and buffs. Or if you wanna be Horde try the Shaman who is arguably the strongest class in the game.
Have fun
Id say Squonk has the best character the Rogue i have a:
44 Mage Human
18 Paladin Human
13 Hunter Elf
7 Rogue Human
11 Hunter Tauren
12 Rogue Undead
And i really like the Rogue great fun, the paladin wasnt bad a great support member as it has ressurect, but if i was to start again id go with a Rogue.
cool, thanks for the tips. I looked at the paladin first, but chose the warrior as I like being a tank :D
I've played support classes so much in mmorpgs and have rarely played a warrior so I thought this'll be a nice change.
Anyway, I usually play several different characters at a time to keep em close to each other in levels. I guess I can have more than one toon on wow?
I now have a Mage char. Moonjelly is her name :D
My warrior is currently lev 14 and the mage is lev 12. Levelling the mage certainly seems a lot easier so far.
Anyway, I'm starting to enjoy this game. Reminds me so much of EnB. Very similar styling and quest / storyline.

Glad you're having fun with it - shout if you need some help at some stage (Teaelle). Which professions have you chosen for the mage and are you going to specialise in Fire, Frost or Arcane?
TL.
herbs and alchemy profession as I like making the mana potions :P keep running out of mana in a firefight and the potions are essential!
As for specialisations. That's the thing that pops up at level 10 right? If so, I'm not sure yet. I'm guessing you have to chose a path? Which is best? Who knows. Will take that as it comes :P
