I guess we're all still fairly fresh faced and still leveling in the teens or twenties. And so I don't imagine we've travelled to far from home. However I am on a Druid specific quest that has required me to travel from Tedrassil the Elven homeland, which is the very top island on the western continent - right across to Westfall which is the human region next to Stormwind on the Eastern continent. This trip required me to take a Hyroglyph (flying bird) taxi to the Elven mainland. Then a ship across the ocean from west to east. Then I ran on foot through the Wetlands which is a fetid swamp filled with some truely aweful looking crocs and things called black slime! From there it was up into the mountains and through the dwarven tunnels. Then on through snowy valleys to Ironforge the dwarven and gnomic capital. Then I took a tram ride underground to Stormwind and finally another foot slog through the woods and out into Westfall. After a treck through that barren place I finally reached the sea, where my underwater quest lay. Just as I was getting into my Elven swimming trunks a bloody  great crab rushed up and killed me!

Still a trip like that really opens yout eyes to the vast scope of this game. Elven glades to stinky swamps to snow covered mountains to green forests to scorched prarie and finally to the sea. Awe inspiring!

Once you get to know most of the islands you can use the taxi things all over, i just like the fact there is pretty much no loading time. Which is great and makes the gmae feel much realer.
