I've sat in the front cockpit of a UK Apache (on the ground, but who cares :dribble: ), with work, when the pilot powered up the cannon. The hydraulics activating shook the whole airframe, you can just imagine what its like when firing.
It almost made wish I'd joined up.... :D

That's right, which is why they generally fire short bursts only.... very similar to the cannon on the A-10 Warthog
Stick a big gun on a helipcopter and amazingly it becomes an Apache, NOT. :rolleyes:
