interesting, I've not opened that port. However it is conceivable that the server is initiating the connection which will allow external access.

Ya can only idle for so long ........then people ARE going to migrate to populated servers .....this situation is now getting way to big and too long just to be a lull in interest with CS ......
Sunday night proved that to me ...there was only me and Duvell on for over an hour on Razer at what used to be peak time for dMw servers ....approx 8-9 pm .....lets face it we used to fill TWO servers at this time !!!!
ANYONE who looks at a server and see's 2 players on one ...and 16/17 on another are gonna pick the populated one ...for the pure fact of better gameplay ...and with the present situation we are in, we are finding it tough to get people back .....yes I know I cant tell you what games to play ...but I can write my opinion ...(freedom of speech )

that is because the server was rebooted today at around 11:30
just waiting for Oldie or TL to restart the game servers.
Doesnt this indicate the lack of interest in CS nowadays, if the servers went off line at 11.30 and they are still off at 6pm ???? :(
this is NOT a dig at the admins :blush: ,
just a gripe in general .......not so long ago someone would've asked for the servers to be re-booted via msn !!!!!

Servers are up. and looking good. Pings are low and stable.

Mine OK too (in server browser and HLSW) although the 1.6 and DoD servers are both dead.
I didn;t start those - I started the CS server just now. I'll let OB do the DoD server as I couldn't find the ON button :)
