Just to say, because I'm feeling a bit smug about it...
I just completed the PADI Open water diver course over the last 2 weekends.
Yes, in the middle of winter, 4 dives, Horsea Island in Portsmouth, air temperature 1 degree, water temperature from 2 - 4 degrees, weather conditions, snowing :blink: :D .
Great fun, bloody cold though, roll on Egypt in May :lol:

Seriously, well done though. I've been in the North Sea in winter in an Immersion Suit so i know how cold it can get.
