Title: PADI Open water diver
Post by: albert on March 01, 2005, 09:10:49 PM
Just to say, because I'm feeling a bit smug about it...

I just completed the PADI Open water diver course over the last 2 weekends.

Yes, in the middle of winter, 4 dives, Horsea Island in Portsmouth, air temperature 1 degree, water temperature from 2 - 4 degrees, weather conditions, snowing    :D .

Great fun, bloody cold though, roll on Egypt in May

Is that the Irish Certification?  :narnar:

Seriously, well done though. I've been in the North Sea in winter in an Immersion Suit so i know how cold it can get.
