This afternoon I gave away all my items to hapless newbs - and now there is $1m burning a virtual hole in my virtual money pouch.
Anyone interested? Any replys after 12:am GMT this evening will not be considered as account will be closed by then.

Hi Duv,
Glad you are OK,
I put your money to good use, I now am the proud owner of a VIPER +6/48.
Could not have done it without your help.
The Blessed Elemental Scroll cost 3.8m alone
I can solo Ash Knights quite easily now ;-)
Half thinking about WoW, if there is a good clan going I might get it.
Are there many on this forum in a Clan?
See ya

Lots of people play WoW. I can''t say much about it. Mayby Tealeaf or Sadako could inform you about that.
For the rest, I splitted the money up between you and my nephew and he still ahs my character I think.
Ahwell, get CounterStrike, we all play that ;)
The majority of people play on the Aszune server, but read the WoW section carefully as there are other servers and other peeps out there. We don;t run our own Guild yet, but we have the finances and capability to do so if the need arises. Currently I am a member of Dragonblades Guild on Aszune.

Hi TL,
Good to hear from you,
They seem to have fixed some of the problems on KO regarding Laaag, and DC's. It certainly seems to play a lot better now.
KO was/is the 1st mmorpg I have ever played and I still think its good.
Is Wow that much better. Should I make the big move and swop? Will I be amazed ;-)
I understand its not free like KO, whats the monthly fee?
Regards Steve

lo Essex :)
KOL was the first MMORPG I had ever played too - and it gave me a bunch of fun and a desire to explore the genre further.
Yes, WoW is very much better than KOL imo. Graphically it is better, there is far less level grinding - a lot of the grinding has been replaced with Questing and there is greater variety of classes and skills. The world (and instances) are simply _HUGE_. You could spend several hours simply running from one end of an island to another and coming across different people, monsters, quests and items. What it misses is voice comms, but partying is still a big feature and Guilds are the WoW equivalent of KOL Clans.
You don't have to pay a monthly fee (the first month is free), but I will be - I have opted for the quarterly option. Monthly I think it works out as £9.95pm, but there is a slight discount for quarterly or annual payment.
HTH.
