Email them using the RMA Queries (http://contact.overclockers.co.uk/) section of their website.  They supply the RMA number and then follow the procedures provided.  They're an online retailer, I expect them to have the one phone and nobody to answer it when they're on lunch.  Hence I tend to use email for the contact point.  My experience of the RMA process has generally not been to bad.

from the ocuk forums -

IMPORTANT CONTACT INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT - Many of you will be aware that Overclockers UK, like many other companies, stopped accepting direct e-mail some weeks ago. This has presented some difficulties for customers who do not have access to the telephone and indeed placed a huge additional load on our incoming lines. In response to this Overclockers UK are launching a new contact method today - the WebNote System. To contact Customer Service or Technical Support, simply log on to http://contact.overclockers.co.uk (http://contact.overclockers.co.uk) and send a WebNote. Your message will be received by an operator complete with all information relating to your order. We anticipate all WebNotes received by 2pm to be answered that day. You can of course still call our usual numbers. Sales and Customer Service - 0870 443 0880. Technical Support - 0871 222 8528. Overclockers UK is committed to providing the very best standards of customer service and we look forward to dealing with your enquiry faster than ever.

To add to my woes my local post office didn't seem to be able to find the address  of their business on the computer! Finally they found the address after about 30 minutes! Isn't this something overclockers should check so people can send their parcels back and forth?

Shouldn't you have checked it before you went to the post office?

Their address is shown on every page of their website in the grey stripe near the top of the page ;)

Ok, now I am confused.

You went to the post office with Overclockers address in your hand to send them the RMA.

You then asked the Post Office to find the address that you already had and they struggled.

Now which bit of this am I not getting?

No no he's actually right.

The PO have a computer system to ensure correct address' for registered delivery type things.  If the address that they are given does not come up on their databasey thing, they will not post it. Normally the prob occurs when the addressee gives out a faulty or incorrect post code.

At work we send registered post all the time and I have never ever come across this problem.

Seconded - I'm very curious about this. I frank my own mail, fill in the appropriate next day delivery forms / signed for forms, and just hand them over to be validated (well, stamped). Even when I've got the post office to add the postage to the items, they've never checked the addres.

I'm wondering if this is something new, or if it's a particularly curious returns service they use for RMAs that might kick off such a process - was it called anything in particular?

I had the same problem with a faulty parcel shelf.  Sent it back to the company, and you go to the post office, you give them the address, they check it all, put it through and give you a confirmation of postage.

In my case the post code given to me wasn't right, and the computer system wouldn't let it go through.

They definitely do this when you require insurance on the stuff that you post as well.

I sent things via recorded delivery, and often special delivery, and the address I've sent something to has never been checked on a computer, not once :)

Depends how thorough the PO is, most don't check the business address they just accept your label and payment.

I recently ordered an XP3200+ from OCuK and it had at least 6 small chips on the CPU core so I sent it back without even trying it. I received another and guess what, it was also chipped. So I gave up with them. They are obviously trying to ship OEM B grades out at a slightly reduced price so beware if you want an XP3200+, get it from somewhere else, that's my advice. I still don't have one :(.

Hmmm, not content with one oversize bandwidth hogging signature, I find that the previous user feels his penis is sufficiently small to warrant TWO bandwidth hogging images in his signature :(

For goodness sake fellas, use text and get rid of the graphical POS.
