I'm not sure if you get this on the other server and the PvP server guys will see this all the time, but I was invoved in my first mass Horde attack tonight.
I was hunting Crocs in the marshes around Menethil Harbour when I saw this Orc Shaman run by. I mentioned it in Local defence and suddenly sart getting quiszzed by a couple of Elves who have heard there may be more Horde in the area. Then another players screams there are loads of them pouring out of the northern pass and the next thing I see is no less that 70-100 Horde players riding and running past. Then all hell breaks loose as they storm the harbour. I ran back an saw absolute carnage. All the NPC guards were dead and the Horde were running around slaughtering everyone. I even saw two Trolls kill the children that play outside the herbalist shop!!!
However suddenly the gryphen shop starts spewing out Alliance players and a huge couter attack took place. Obvioulsy the guild chat had been working hard, cause within about five minutes there were at least fifty Alliance players to add to the twenty odd who were, like me, already in the town. I even managed to spot two Lv60 paladins in the throng which is a first for me. Add to this the allarmingly fast respawn rate of the town guards and within a few minutes we were chasing the Horde out through the wetlands. I think there was a big counter-attach planned but I had business in Ironforge and had to go :blush: . Amazingly I was playing my level 23 Dwarf Hunter and managed to survive the whole experience. Scarey when your hacking away at a Lv44 Tauren warrior. My pet died though :(
Honestly it was about the most extraorinary thing I've seen in a game since Benny jumped out of a chopper he was piloting in BFV, parachuted to the ground and got killed when the chopper then crashed on his head.
If anyone gives a damn I'll lob up a few screenies I tookif I can tomorrow.

I assume you were playing on Argent Dawn Smilodon ......as i was in IF when the call came through and went to join the fun along with everyone else.
It was good fun chasing em across the Wetlands .........was really quite funny as a few low level stragglers got left behind and were finding it difficult to find themselves somewhere to hide to use the hearthstone to get the hell out of there and as soon as they were cut down then people hubg around to guard the bodies to make sure they stayed dead.
The lag when all the action was on was horrendous though.
Sadly no pis...they turnedout dreadful and dark. There's still a Troll body in the keep stinking the place up and until tonight a Tauren on the bridge. Someoen should tip them in the swamp.
I take it when they respawn you get to kill them again and again? Or have they simply nto yet bothered to come back to rez themselves?

I'd asume they chose not to collect their bodies. It's a tough slog back from the Menethil graveyard for any Horde player if the're on their own. I guess they might be planning to resurrect about 3am one morning and sneak out when the servers are quiet.
I'm in a guild now (Axe & Beard) and it's a condition of membership that I run a PvP always on mod, so no more standing about watching the fun. It's actually suprising how much PvP actually goes on on the RP servers. My Undead rogue often sees powerful paladins and the like up near the Monestary north of the Undead city. And there are always plenty of Horde players scoping them out. I was talking to a Lv55 Undead rogue who spends lots if time up there watching them and noting their names and stats etc. All very sinister.
I also notice that while Argent Dawn has 250+ guilds Azsune only has 6!!! Is this right? And if so sort yourselves out and get that Deadmen Guild going, although you might all get mistaken for Undead if you do.

I am currently in a Guild on Aszune (Dragonblades), but I am sure I have seen members of more than 6 Guilds running around on the server? Where did you get the info on guild numbers?
