edit the .toc file so the version number is 4216. The game says the version number is 4222 but it aint.

Otherwise hit 'addons' on the character selection screen screen (after you actually login but before you select a character) and uncheck version checking.

Mapnotes is a god send.....as is Monkek Quest, Bottom Bar, Player Link Menue, Buff Timer, Bag Status Meter and Smartpet (hunters) and others.

OK, elaborate please.  This is a personal request for links, explanations and descriptions of what they do, the benefits etc.  So far I have managed without them all, so what am I missing?

Monkey Quest allows you to display your quests as a screen overlay. It will be obsolete after this fridays patch

Bottom Bar adds another row of buttons along the bottom of the screen so you can have more actions ready without having to scroll throughthe default action buttons

PlayerLink menu allows you to click on any player name in the chat window and do a whois, whisper, group or ignore command on them

Buff Timer displays a count down under each active buff that tells you how long it has to run

Bag Status Meter shows how many slots you have left in each bag and how many slots the bag has in total so you can see at a glance how much space yuo have left

Smartpet is for hunters and lets your pet self manage its focus metre so it can keep casting growl and hold mobs for longer while the  hunter shoot them.

All available Here (http://ui.worldofwar.net/)

Which .toc files are we talking about. The only ones i can find are the ones in th addons folders.

Mapnotes.toc
## Interface: 4196

and

MapsNotesGathering.toc
## Interface: 4150

ill change these both to 4216 and see what happens

ok, that seemed to work :)

I put a link to a programe in the "useful links" section that should sort all these version number problems out for you.

Just download it and run it to sync up the .toc files.
