Title: Owning a classic
Post by: Doorman on March 24, 2005, 08:26:33 AM
For those of you not familiar with having had to replace a clutch in your car let me tell you how it feels. Bloody marvelous!        :woot2: The act of putting it in gear was: 1. Long. HEAVY push of pedal to floor. 2. Wait several seconds. 3.  Move gearlever into 1st gear position.... slowly! Subsequent changes were made in the same manner.  :(
Although some might use the term 'old banger' I prefer the more genteel 'classic vehicle'. Said classic vehicle (1997 Vauxhall Combo 1.7 diesel van) can been seen on show outside the Oliver Cromwell Hotel during the period of the dMw LAN VII. (Please do not touch)
