Title: Nostromo N52 problem
Post by: DuVeL on March 30, 2005, 08:16:25 PM
Hi guys, I have another problem, this time with my Nostromo n52
(http://images.belkin.com/F8GFPC100/STD1_F8GFPC100.jpg)

I did a Google search and found nothing.

The problem: It doesn't work properly anymore and somehow it messes up with my configurations. I can put it on now and the little nostromo hand sign turns up in red when I finish it (didn't had that before untill last night after the match). Then I've restarted my computer and it said something about (all translated from Dutch to English):

***
Menu for repairing of hardwareprofiles/configuration

In this menu you can select which hardwareprofile you want to use after windows has rebooted.

If your computer doesn't start up the correct way, you can with the previous system configuration start and on this way solve rebootingproblems.
IMPORTANT: changes in the systemconfiguration that are changedafter the systemhas been last succesfully restarted , will be lost.

***

Any suggestion?
Like installing the old systemconfiguration?  :(

Another weird thing was that when I wanted to scroll down down internetpages it couldn't, it kept going on top. I've now put the N52 in another USBport and it seems fine.

Edit: I've put it in the USBport is was allready in and now it works again...weird    :dummy:

Yeah - like on my old PC, the NIC wouldn't work unless I shifted everything 1 inch to the right on the desk. Then it worked fine.....
