Been waiting nearly 20 minutes for a slot on the Hook and I've had enough of the public this week.
Should we think about putting Homer back to a private CZ as I don't see many people using it for DOD (or am I looking at the wrong times).?
I've waited around 15 minutes, then got back to my homework.
For the rest, me and my oldest brother have DoD now and would like some suggestions how to play (suggestions/tips online by someone who played DoD a bit more then us). So maybe we can make an certain time/day that we all go on the DoDserver?
For the rest: I'm glad the server is full, 2 bad we're not on it though 8)
Isn't it better to have one full server than two middling-sized ones though?
Recap ...
We stopped all dMw matches in an effort to concentrate on our flagging server numbers. This, and the introduction of the public servers, has started to bear fruit.
Now the tricky bit ... getting *two* full TCS servers. Not an easy jump to make.
Plan A:
Re-introduce the second TCS server and hope that numbers continue to improve allowing for two simultaneous games to take place with admins juggling the numbers.
Plan B:
Introduce TDoD (Tactical Day of Defeat). This game already lends it's self to teamplay and there are already quite a few members who enjoy playing it. Time will tell (the LAN may prove decisive on this).
Plan C ???
What doth the membership say?
Plan D: BF2! :D
Plan B =-)
Before, when one servers been full and half the players are asked to move to the second server (to get two games running) both dont survive as long, once a couple leave the second server people will be keen to get back on the first to a more fuller game.
DoD is a class game, and V good for teamwork especially when each class is so different ->tactics are therefore unlimited defensive or offensive.
Im happy to go over things with people ne querys or what have you! :P
gimme a PM or msn.
@ Pete msn me and ill go to the server one night with you if u like :-)
Thanks m8 but I'll be busy for a bit this coming 2 weeks. If I'll go on, I'll give a shout. Now I need my beer.....
