Title: Burt and Ken

Well to keep all you queens up to date. I'm almost a 20, making slow but steady progress through the world. I've banked a few nicer looking items and am looking forward to a foray at the AH.

For now though, I've just struck out on my own on my first long distance quest. Through the hills and a mountain tunnel, past some logging camps and on up to Stonetalon peak.

What has struck me is the range on environment, from the wooded glades in Astranaar, through the mountains into desolate left overs of a forest. Up the mountain path into a leafy area to meet some bloke whose name I forget.

Ken trotting along next to me, getting me in trouble now and then, the playful lil' bugger.   I think I've found the source of my interest and although the gameplay doesn't really vary, it's the pitting yourself against stronger foes, then returning a level or 2 later to wreak revenge!! I've got a dungeon quest on the cards and I'm getting the hang of stacking my quests. Now if I could find a mod that auto searched thott and added points to my map to save me alt-tabbing I'd be away.

Map notes would allow you to manually mark points of interest.

Map Notes (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=79)

You#ll probably start top find plenty more to do that quest as you go along. Guild membership (of a good one) can allow you to get ivolved in instance raids, horde raids and what ever events your guild choose to hold. There's more to come as you advance  :D

I use Cosmos (http://www.cosmosui.org/) - a nice combined package of addons within which you can enable or disable individual elements to tailor the package to suit your specific requirements.

MapNotes is part of the Cosmos package, so you could kill two birds with one stone by using Cosmos.

I have map notes and indeed cosmos, but it's not automatic. I get bored of alt-tabbing to thott, finding the co-ords then going back into the map and manually adding.

You know I use the toilet for different things than you right?

Are you good at cupping?

Oh, and my tour included the Barrens tonight, a bit sparse innit.

Silithus (the entrance to which is in the NW corner of Un'Goro Crater) is one of the scariest places I've been so far.  As a L51 Mage my aggro radius seemed unbelievably large - and was therefore chased liberally across a number large distances by almost any beastie that was within half a mile fo the road
