I personally didn't give them a chance when they beat Chelsea and nearly switched the TV off after going down 3-0 against AC Milan, but oh my fu**ing god how good was that to see that last penalty saved.
Never been a Livewrpool pool fan but I truly couldn;t be happyer to see them win.... many a times have I wanted to see them lose in the past but tonight brought a real tear to my eye and a smile that won;t be gone for a long time.
What, did they win or something?
what was going on with the Dudek dance. Not sure it will catch on :)
and how far did he want to be off his line for the 2nd penalty
anyway well done Liverpool. champions of Europe. but only 5th in the premiership. (how dose that work then)

madness eat all your words .
doris wait till i see u, and i bet ya dad is well pleased.
Oh and madness UTD will never win the treble again, because they will be declared bankrupt sooner than later with mr Glazer in the hot seat :lmfao: which would make my day.
All i can say is that was the most unbelievable game of football i have ever seen, its as if it was written in the stars, and i am so proud of THE MIGHTY REDS.
Rafa must have given the team a roasting of a lifetime and thank god Traore listened because he was the cause of at least the first 2 Milan goals.
erm.......cant believe it still Liverpool champions of europe YET AGAIN.
:worship:   :woot2:
Congratz LFC.
The funny thing about all of this is that they finished 5th in the league so may not be able to defend their title next year as the uk only get 4 places in the competition and they go to the top four teams.
Even so they did well to win.

Legendary Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar insisted Champions League hero Jerzy Dudek "did a much better job" than he had when the Reds won the competition in 1984.
And he described Dudek's unconventional posturing in the penalty shoot-out as "like a starfish with jelly legs".
Grobbelaar inspired Liverpool to European Cup glory against Roma 21 years ago after a penalty shoot-out, and in Istanbul Dudek did the same against AC Milan.
The Pole's heroics capped an historic night which saw Liverpool come from 3-0 down at half-time to draw 3-3, before the game was decided by spot-kicks.
Dudek copied Grobbelaar's bizarre tactic from the Reds' last European Cup win by waving his arms around and wobbling his legs as the Milan penalty takers approached.
Serginho missed Milan's first penalty before Dudek saved from Pirlo and Ukrainian star Andriy Shevchenko.
"He did a much better job than I did," said Grobbelaar. "He looked like a starfish with jelly legs to me but it worked.
"This must be a hell of a high for him, and the double save against Shevchenko in extra-time was one of the best I've ever seen."
Of the victory, Grobbelaar told Sky Sports News: "This is much better than anything we did. No-one has ever come back like that in the European final."
Huh?

yup....some remember...
Quote Former Liverpool and Southampton goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar has been ordered to pay more than £1m in legal costs after his libel action against The Sun.
Mr Grobbelaar had been awarded £85,000 after claiming the newspaper had libelled him.
But this verdict was quashed and the damages stripped away in January last year by the Court of Appeal.
Mr Grobbelaar took that case to the House of Lords which reinstated the jury verdict - but slashed his damages to just £1.
The Law Lords who heard the case said although it had been proved that Mr Grobbelaar had accepted bribes, The Sun had failed to show he had actually let in goals to fix matches.
But they said in a ruling last month that he had acted in a way in which no decent or honest footballer would behave.
