It's sad really...
I came accross a few people like this woman in my previous life as a firefighter...
one chap would not throw anything away...and I do mean anything, he had a fridge full of jars of wee, and he wrapped his jobbies in newspaper.
I couldn't go near a chip shop for ages afterwards :P

Our neighbours house was nearly like that but incredibly dirty, he was an old fellas tho. Guess who had to help shift it when he became ill....
The jam pots still had golly wogs on them!
