Checkout cs_intercept (ftp://ftp.cscentral.com/hosted/nay/cs_intercept.exe).

I've had a look and it appears promising so post here if you've DL'd it and if we get more than ten ppl with the map then we'll organise an official play-test.

Wow - why didn't I think of that?  Oh wait, I did.  And then I wondered how many servers won't be running that map because some micro$loppy assumed that everyone uses the same crappy OS as him, so I complained on his forum.
The result being that:
Yes, he didn't realise Linux doesn't soil itself with exes.
Yes, he will produce a proper zip file later today.
Yes, it's later today.
No, he hasn't produced it.

Must have got a BSOD or something...

I think the map is worth a try - I've played around with it via the Fusion Pack (which also provides some Podbots for it) and the game play seems to work quite well.  So, in this post penguin/BSOD MS world, do we get it on the server now? :D

It's already on there. Has been for days. Us Linux types are quite capable of multitasking i.e. slagging off micro$loppies while we get the work done...

:D Thanks DM - I look forward to playing it on the rotation.  Are we going to warn regulars by sticking in a notice in the normal MH CS load script?

We have this one in our rotation on N42 as of the 2.3 map pack update.

Like this one way more than assault.

Very pretty map with LOADS of routes and places to hide.  When the new server goes in it would be a blast to play in a large 15 v 15 match :-)

The point being that the map really sucks if you don;t have decent sized teams.  And we are now starting to regularly see 7 v 7 and 8 v 8 matches on Homer.  Maybe time to roll it back on to Homer and get rid of some other map.

There are actually a great deal of good maps in the new N42 rotation.

Have a look at
http://www.xlii.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4425 (http://www.xlii.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4425)

de_sampa is a great map from the guy who made the famous cs_rio.
