Have you updated your HLSW? Latest update changed the way the servers talk to tools. HLSW was updated yesterday (mine told me when I fired it up).

Good spot. 1.0.42 shows servers as timing out. Updating to1.0.43 shows them as responding. Let me guess, steam has changed the way things work again coz 1.0.42 has been working fine for a month.
These guys are such a**h**es. :(

I did check the servers but I did it via HLSW and various CS Source servers I look at were responding fine it was the CZ servers that were showing timeouts!!!
However, the steam changes will also explain why gametiger wasn't showing anything either. God but Valve are hopeless.
Yeah i noticed game tiger. I never usually use it so i thought gawwd this is crap.
The change was to the HL1 engine query system, which is why you noticed it on non-Source servers :)
I was desperate for a game too, so a reponse to say the servers were OK would have been nice :blink:
Oh well, I'll know what to do next time steam screws things up.
