looking for some action today and all but 2 of about 10 of my favorite servers are down?  any one else got the same?

it says put password in .. so i do then i click 'log in'  then thats it .. it does naff all

Ahhh... this reminds me why I keep things nice and simple.

1. Install steam
2. Play game.


Oh yeah, try using steam yourself.  Although much maligned have you actually tried looking at the servers through steam server browser itself?   :narnar:

You need 1.0.0.43

get it from the HLSW auto updater founf at the ? menu on HLSW

I just checked my Steam on task manager and when i start it (steam) up CPU usage goes to 100% any ideas?

Ive been trying to connect to steam for 3 days with no luck.

So today i decided to try the standard ADSL modem, and it worked! i got straight onto the server list.

The router im using is a Netgear DG834v2. Anyone know anything that might stop steam connecting?

dunno if this is related but my dad is getting horrible connection dropouts with his DG834v2 whereas the supplied BTbroadband modem works fine. Not with BTbroadband perchance are you?
