by looking at your pc   your game should be fine
i have had the same problem with bf 2 before
what i did was  when u reinstall window xp  then service pack 1 and 2
before you put any more program in  put bf 2 in first and play it  if it played perfect u know it okay  if u install another program and the game get worse then u know the program is causing a conflict to the game (when the program is running )
so you must turn off any program running in the background
or downloading
test the game in single player or create local  and play on your own  see if the game is running smooth  that is 1 way of trying it out
if the game is running nice  then it wont be you  it be the network server
if no better try turning down the video option like  lighting and shadows
some pc cannot take it   some can   i know it strange
Lots of people are getting alsort of problem with bf 2

Hmm  - obviously not clear enough --- the motherboard is borked!

For what reason I dont know but it seems to get really mucked up talking to the memory if i use more than 1 slot.

Turns out that a moron I know who thinks he knows about computers was given a pc to look at by 1 of the security guards in his work.

He promptly diagnosed it as being a bad motherboard and advised security guard to purchase a new one. Oddly enough 1 the same as mine

Said security guard did so but guess what --- the board wasn't faulty after all.

The old board has now been sitting gathering dust in the IT office for approximately 6 months.

At least it was until about an hour ago

See ya all later on folks
