We need to conclude fairly quickly if we are CS/CZ community or now multigame. I think the answer is obvious, but as a result we need to rewrite the website, the pinned header topics for the community on the forums etc. We also need to review the SteamID requirement for those non-CS players.
Agree?
TL.
Yup. I agree.
Note I will be away in Israel 23-29 July and cannot do any updates to the webpage at that time.
I suggest that Smite (if he is willing) makes some new banners/graphics to reflect the changes.
Yep, I've not been playing much but I've enjoyed watching the BF popularity rise so quickly.
agree with the aforementioned :)
I agree. I also think we need to invest in some top-notch hardware to ensure we can provide for the community into the future.

Agreed.
TL's hardware interest peaks :D
I'll start some research........
TL.
With that in mind it'd be nice to do that when the servers are moved to the new datacenter (mentioned a month or so back). I'll try to get some more info today on timescales.

yup time to move on !
looks like i gotta go buy this BF game then to keep playin with you girls ,-)
So where do we stand on this?
.....me is thinking about stuff.
Basically I think we all agree the community needs to move forward and at least formally reognise the multigame side of things. OB and I are thinking about stuff at the moment, but if you have any suggestions for us to consider then please post them here. More stuff about the stuff we think will be the best stuff will follow in due course once the stuff is out of the stuff generator and the right stuff sorted from the bad stuff.
/stuff generator on max
TL.
I think that one of the things we need to bear in mind is the need to keep bringing people together which is why I have been pushing the "Friday Night is Meathook Night" theme recently. Its great that we can play different games but we won't last as a community unless we have something more in common.
Fri CZ?
Sat WoW?
Sun BF2?
Rest of the week play what you want?
I dunno, just throwing ideas out there to see what sticks :)
I think we need to think of a name change "Dead Men Walking Tactical Counter-Strike" doesn't work for us anymore.
Dead Men Walking Online Gaming Community
Dead Men Walking Gaming Community
Dead Men Walking Tactical Gaming Community (sounds awfully close to TG/N42)
Any more ideas?

Just rolls off the tongue...
...and Benny ;)
The BoD clan has a new deathmatch server. It is a CZ server with the only difference to a regular one is that you spawn immediately after you die. The action is non-stop and actually a great laugh. Before you dismiss it I recommend that you try it. Maybe something for the late Friday night beer/fun sessions.
