Hi everyone,

I'm a friend of Ranger and thought I'd better introduce myself as I have already played on your server.

Born in Bulwell, Nottingham, raised in Skegness and living in Skidby, a small village near Beverley and Hull in East Yorkshire.

*warning this is going to sound like a Miss world contest*

I am svelte 38-32-...  I want to open a donkey sanctuary and I pray for world peace :o) also ....

I'm 35, been playing comp games since I owned a zx81, currently my favourite games are BF2, I used to play JO - but that seems lame now since BF2, I also play Generals online, Football Manager and GTR: online ... but mostly BF2 now :)

Like Ranger I enjoy team-work and tactics rather than rush head long into the action lone wolf stylee - though I will do that if it helps the team.

I'm an ex paintballer used to play for The Scorpions, Union and Blitz - won quite a few comps, appeared in international paintball mags, played in and marshalled top European comps blah blah - unfortunately it doesn't stop me getting shot a lot ;o)

I was on TG forum and while they look like a good squad with good ethics etc, they are US based and then I saw an ad for Dead Men Walking and you seem to have very similar values - I've been checking out your forum and the replies you give to new people and you have a friendly and fair attitude with an emphasis on team work - which is just what I'm looking for. I also noted in a game quite a few of you seem to hail from the midlands area so I felt right at home with your accents :) even though I no longer live there!

Anway sorry about the dissertation, and both I and Ranger look forward to playing alongside you guys on your server.

Welcome m8. Glad you found us.

We are a community and our main games just now are CS/CZ, BF2 and WOW. This friday is a big CZ night if you play that. Sunday night is good for BF2 as we tend to password the server so only people with access to the server password entry in our forums can join :)

I'll let the WOW guys post about when/where they play WOW.

Look forward to seeing you on the server :D

zx81... :D I have a semi-funtional (pretty sure some of it's not working any more) ZX spectrum 48k in an attic in scotland somewhere.

I used to be play Operation Flashpoint online, I was in a clan called SWAF - Seawolves last year. SWAF are very organised and a good set of lads, but I didn't have the time for all the practice sessions etc that they arranged not with my RL committments at the time - ie getting married, buying a house, playing around with my car. Things have settled down now, though I still have lots of stuff to keep me busy, I play as often as I can.

Hi Benny

Myself and 4 other friends formed a small friendly clan called BIG - I don't know we called it BIG - though it may have involved beer - anyway, its kinda stuck, but I'm not precious about it. So Ranger is also known as BIG-Beaty.

...I kinda did for a while - although I mostly played a Unreal Tournament mod called 'Tactical Ops' (a straight copy of Counter Strike!). Being a Mac user and all!
 LOL

When I later got a PC I played 'the real thing' (CS 1.5) but then went back onto the Mac - so bye-bye CS!

Funnily enough, I was tidying out my software the other day and guess what I found that I didn't know I had? CS:CZ! ...Unopenned!

:)

So I will be giving that a bash this Friday with the rest of the dMw guys.

Sunday night sounds good, thats when myself and Ranger normally play. I've never played WOW, i've never been that into orcs and stuff ;o)

But I have reverted to my old 'Ghost Recon' tag of 'Ranger' - so now am [BIG]Ranger rather than BIG-Beaty! (Confused? Me too!)

You've got to admire our Norm.  The new boys have scarcely been here two secs and already our 'Folding Pimp' is on the case.  Good work fella!!! :worship:
