Wow, I can't believe it's been over two months now.
After my last post in this thread on September 1st., I played on our servers only once or twice. Then, just when I thought I was going to be playing plenty of CSS with my Dead Peeps Walkin', my computer decided that it was time to go on strike, i.e. stop working.
So basically, for those wondering why I would announce my return and then not actually return, I've been without a computer for the last months and am currently posting from my mother's laptop. So now I won't be playing any games with you lads any time soon (unless computers suddenly become really really cheap), but at least I'll be able to stay up to date on the new things going on in our fine community.

As I'd mentioned a couple of days ago (could've been yesterday, not sure), on my screen shows up bearing the same textures as the player-pieces in Monopoly, dents and all that. I assumed it was supposed to be that way, as nobody else ever mentioned it, but after asking around, it turned out that most people (as in, everybody except me) see it in a dark-ish brown with smoother textures. Anyway, here are the promised pics:

Rather than being a map-based thing, the best gun often depends on the current situation.
Most people tend to buy the ak47 or m4a1 because they are proper all-purpose weapons, suited for long range or combat indoors.

But if, for example, you're playing dust2 and notice that the Ts, when attacking, tend to group up and push through your team's defenses, it might be best to ditch the m4a1 for something with a larger clip, that allows you to just spray at the crowd at close range, like the p90. That can be useful, because even if you don't kill them all (you'd have to be really lucky (or Kreg) to do that), you have the possibility to at least wound several, thus making them vulnerable to nades and often causing them to disperse, thus rendering their rush useless.

Keeping this in mind, you'll soon know what situation requires what weapons, especially since not all people handle the same weapons the same.

In actual fact, although the logo isn't shown there I have seen stuff around saying it will be coming out for Wii as well, and that's what i'll be getting it for. Sure, the graphics won't be as good, but who could pass up the chance to wave your Wiimote around like a lightsaber?
