Update on voice comm battle.

We have updated sound card drivers, re installed CS and, with some trepidation, gone to look for 'sticky keys' as recommended by Tutonic (had heard about these on 'alternative' sites but never knew what they were talking about   )

Still no improvement. :!:

If its any help, when I go into a LAN game the mic works fine!!

On a slightly more embarressing note - for those peeps who I have told we have Win XP, well, I was wrong we have Win ME (and before you say it, I know 'TYPICAL WOMAN')

Ta for help so far lads.

And Smite - Those last cartoons are definetly not sexy m8, and if you think they are you really do need help.    8O

 Having REAL probs with voice comms in CS and I'm asking everyone I know and don't know so here we go......
When I press the talk button in game the name that appears on the right of the screen to tell you who's speaking flashes on and off.  My conversation is broken up as if im repeatedly pressing button.

This has only been happening since I dl'd 1.4.

I have tried new mic, typing voice_dsound 1 in autoexec file, changing talk key and gone through voice setup several times. Plus other things that would take ages to type.
If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful o|  :conf:
