Really enjoyed tonights games, but still have no mic. Searched and searched but still cant find a fix for it. Tried different hardware to no avail. So if you spot anything that could help you hear my dulcet tones,shout up,thanks.:lmfao:

I'm trying to avoid having to buy another as I have just bought the one I have at the moment, I'll try and borrow a usb one to see if it makes a difference.

Well even after doing a full system upgrade(MB,sound,cpu and memory) still got no joy with mic. :g: Any other ideas guys ?

Unticked  no difference, its getting to be a pain,lol.

Check in advanced I think it is that Windows isn't giving programs pirorty over anything else

Did a re-install of windows and steam with no change. :sad:

Yeah, checked that, disabled other recording devices, seems like its dropping out when it goes into game.The icon shows up in game so push to talk is working .

Check to see if cs:go or steam is muted in volume controls

There all fine,seems to be a lot of people with the same problem but no fix as yet,probably have to wait for an upodate

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, mic works in mic test in cs:go and teamspeak so I am assuming its a steam/cs:go problem ?

It works for the test and in windows(speech recognition etc), tried a re-install of steam and its a new-ish windows 7 64 bit install but still no joy. Any one had any problems similar ?

Hi all, just thought I would have a look to see how everyone is doing. Hope everyone is well. Loaded steam back onto pc to have a play and found myself buying CS:GO, found a server and away I went, lol. Hope to see a few of you around on the  servers at some point, all the best, Norm.
