So i have accrued around 115mill CR (That Quince passenger run ) & am about to buy my Python.... any advice from fellow Python owners on a starter combat build ?

So I'm here again with another noobish question... as title I'm trying to unlock Tod to upgrade my multi canons but he doesn't seem to want my vouchers ...

I've tried arriving with 150k of vouchers from Zeta which he didn't want, no problem that seemed like a long shot anyway, so I noticed a CZ 100ls from his base, surely this is what he wants ? I farmed a quick 100k worth of vouchers there but still I can't "Donate" them to unlock him, only hand them in to the contact as normal.

I've googled it and apparently I need Alliance bounty vouchers, but no idea where to look, and does that mean I need vouchers for killing Alliance or working with Alliance in CZ's etc ?

Again, any and all help gratefully received

OK cheers albert, yes those are the ones, fortunately i'm getting better ! managed to knock off 30+ ships for a combined 3+ mill CR and much needed combat experience ... now to take the Cobra for an FSD/Thruster upgrade then to introduce myself to the Multi-cannon Engineer guy

Morning all, i have a bunch of missions to kill guys in CZ's within Zeta, but can only find one & that's a high, is that normal ? i'm sure there were loads of the buggers a few days ago.... it's a bit of a struggle in a high CZ with my Cobra...

So this Cobra isn't too bad in CZ's, provided a remember to run when my shields drop....

Does anyone have a full Cobra combat build that's pretty up to date though please ? everything i can find online is fairly old and i'm pretty unsure on what type of shields, bulkheads, etc are best and if i should be using all that internal space for more hull reinforcements or shield boosters etc etc.... i'm also currently running 2 x Multi cannons & 2 beam, all gimballed, but i'm thinking of going all multi cannon as they seem to do far more against the stuff i find in CZ's around dMw territory, any reason that would be a bad idea ?

Any and all opinions welcome

Evening folks, whilst doing a mix of all sorts of missions around dMw "Zeta" area i've somehow become WANTED in "Beta" right next door, with one particular faction. I think i may have assassinated one of their guys

So, i've now docked at two of their stations, an outpost and a coriolis type station, both controlled by the faction in question, but i still don't see any fines to pay to get rid of the bounty on my head ? they are still even offering me missions ! Though i have noticed if they successfully scan me i have to run as i don't get additional fines just "deadly force authorised" in the chat box and they start shooting :blink:

Is this normal ? am i missing something ? can i get rid of being Wanted ?

Yeah but most of that might be useful parts which may be engineered? Ship is worth so little.

No engineering on the Cobra, i only started Engi when i got the Asp last week, it's worth so much as it's pretty much all A rated...

I've just tried refitting it combat ready with much shield, hull, armor improvements, just to try a few basic assasinate missions and see how bad it is/i am :boxing:

May as well keep the cobra. If the worst happens you'll have another ship. Plus it's only worth pennies.

Would you consider it a full on combat ship Albert when equipped that way ? i.e. you would happily take it into CZ's and Assassinate type missions as your ship of choice ?

I must admit as much as i don't want another multi purpose ship, if it can do that and carry 250 cargo maybe i should consider it over the FDL....

And yes having spent an additional 20 mill cr on my 6 mill Asp i'd figured whichever 50 mill combat ship i buy i'd be needing nearer 150 mill to fully pimp it.... not a problem though, i'm at 30 mill already, i seem to be able to make 5-15 mill a day just playing a varied playstyle for a couple of hours so it won't take too long !

This may be common knowledge, but just incase it's not, i've just found Ampere Hub also now gives dMw missions...

I'm doing long distance trade runs from Ceos which generally make around 5 million per run, and are actually pretty quick when your Asp can jump 30+ LY, broken up with some dMw missions each time i return... it makes for quiet a varied playstyle whilst i save for a combat ship... i really do need to do that Alien Artifact thing too i guess...

Cheers guys... i really don't want another multi function ship, Asp is a great all-rounder for my play style, i'll aim for the FDL then maybe...

Is there any point in holding onto my Cobra ? Like i said i pretty much fly the Asp exclusively, can i refit the Cobra for anything useful/fun or shall i just trade it ?
