When i joined steam and needed a nickname i was reading the Wheel of Time series. One character was mazrim and so i just shortened it and now it's easier to keep it rather than change it.

Just a thought next time you reinstall and then the usb ports stop working if you find the usb ports in device manager, look in properties then look under events and see if it says anything.

Id guess it might be a hardware problem, perhaps there's a loose connection somewhere, causing a disconnect with USB ports and then making them unusable until you reinstall the drivers. USB ports are usually on one board with a power cable to motherboard, might be worth opening up and just seeing if there's anything obvious.

If I was to buy it would be the vive, if I'm paying a load I'd want top specs and support from valve is good. I won't be able to buy though until I upgrade my PC

True.Especially to start with though since AMD want to standardise the connections and such more companies would be free to come up with their own solutions, more competition and hopefully cheaper prices
