Not a multiplayer but just wondering if anyone had tried it and what they thought?

A lovely evening listening to OMD - Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark - and all I can think about is expectantly waiting for your flipping Quetzal (Enola Gay) coming swooping in over the 17th Century stunning House like something out of Game of Thrones :-)

Off the back of Oldie's post, I've been trying to find the best place to sell these. I know some similar are on Ebay but I just can't face the hassle of it all so am reaching out in case anyone has any other bright ideas. Hell, I can't even find a forum (which is up) and I can put them on.

All antique and orginals and most work but it's such a damned niche market I'm strugging. Any thoughts?

Here's a few of them...

As you can probably tell, they're dotted around the house but the time has come

Oldie is Older. Have a great day !

[Brother Tobious]

After several years of running the community and recognising the   continuing shift in the way we communicate as a group, both Tealeaf and   Penfold have decided it’s time to pass over the reins and step down  from  leading dMw.  We feel it’s time for some new blood to take over  and to  drive the community forward as it continues to evolve away from  the  traditional forum format into more dynamic avenues.

So, from 21^st January, we’re delighted to announce that Brother Tobious and Chaosphere   have agreed to step up into the leadership roles. They are both   invaluable members of dMw and have the skills and passion to develop and   run the community.  In due course they will appoint their own   leadership team to work with and these appointees will take on Council   roles.

The other existing Council members who provide valuable work on a   day-to-day basis will continue their work but from more of a back office   and advisory role. This mainly means Whitey who continues to do a fantastic job of looking after our server and Smilodon who looks after the forum. OldBloke   is also around and has agreed to help and support on the server side  on  an ad hoc basis.  We’ll still be around (of course) and are going to   help out as and when needed as we love dMw as much as the rest of you.

I’m sure you’ll join us in thanking Toby and Ben for taking this over and also Whitey, Smilo and Oldie for their continued work.

It has been our honour and privilege to have served as your representatives for so long, thank you.

PEN & TL

PS: Please see below from BrotherTobious and Chaosphere  and  it would be great if you can please complete the survey to help them  steer the Community in the direction you want going forwards. Ty.

---------------------------------

The 2023 dMw Survey

With the changing of the guard at dMw, we thought this was a good opportunity to ask YOU, the people that make the community what it is, what you WANT from dMw going forwards. Help us steer the community in the right direction!

The survey should take around 10 minutes, more if you write us essays in the free text elements - which is happily encouraged!

No questions are mandatory, and all responses are ANONYMOUS. There is an 'Other' option for most of the questions where you can input FREE TEXT if desired.

PLEASE submit ONLY ONE complete form. If you finish your   form and decide you want to add to it, you should be able to do so by   simply revisiting the link from the SAME DEVICE you started on.

Tell us what you really think! Don't hold back and be as open and honest   as you can be! We can't hope to improve anything if we don't know what   needs improving!

At the very end you will also find a final free text box to input   anything else you think we have missed off. If you've anything you want   to tell us, anything you think we need to know, go for it!!!

Happy birthdays to both Gortex and SJ. Have a great day both!

Max level (254/254/254/253) Blood Crystal Wyverns are available for those that want.

They're in the righthand propagator at Cliff Top.

Morning.

I'm thinking about giving up my Virgin Media Business phone and Internet in the office and going mobile phone and data.

Presumably I can just buy a data-sim based router with a RF45 socket, connect that to a switch to then connect to the computers. Is that right?

Does anyone know of a sim router which can be plugged in full time

Thanks in advance.

Went to watch this at an Imax in Cambridge hen we had a spare couple of hours and have to say that we really enjoyed it.....

Yes, as far as homo-erotic, American-backslapping movies go when you read into the back-story and the training the actors went through then kudos.

Worth a watch in my book

Missing a few exhibits - needed from other maps but overall it's getting there....

I was taking some photos for a client at the Natural History Museum and they now have a permanent Dino exhibition.

Mildly impressed myself with being able to identify exhibits from afar. +1 dino recognition skills.

Sulky (49) and moaning like a 90 yr old.

Have a great day!

Happy birthday Mr OldBloke. :hapbday:

[Either way, shall we say Sunday Night?]

Having done a stock take on what we have on Extinction....

We have enough to do the

Desert Titan Trophy
Forest Titan Trophy
Ice Titan Trophy

then enough to take those to complete the King Titan Trophy Gamma or Beta. (but for that we'll need for alpha rex teeth which I'll work on).

We have previously done the Gamma Trophy and gifted one  to each player which completed it. A coupe of those people - such as Sulks - haven't used theirs to make a Tek Stove so if they don't want to, can we use that in order for us to do Beta. I have created a Tek Stove so can't use mine and I think Oldie may have as well. Anyone else? I know Whitey and Jas and I believe Sithy did it. Did anyone else such as Libbie? or Sneaks? Can't really recall.

If not, then we'll need to redo the Gamma. which is fine but will mean it takes longer.

Let me know if I've got it wrong but I think it's the case. If we want to just run the gamma again then so be it.

Either way, shall we say Sunday Night?

When is everyone around for the beta boss fight?

Do we have any active members from Denmark? I know Delanvital was but he hasn't been on for a while.

I'm going to respec as a Healer as (unless mistaken) it's one area we're light. ?

In a rare flash of enthusiam, I read this thread

https://www.reddit.com/r/newworldgame/comments/ovy50b/leveling_as_a_healer/

Do you guys concur with this?

Otherwise, perhaps one of our resident healers/knowedge bases could give me a simple  'do these stats and use these items' thing?

TIA.

....and queued....

I want a laptop for kids going to Uni. Not a chromebook but a laptop

Do I really need to go for anything more than this sort of thing?

Ideas welcomed please. It's not for gaming so doesn't need to be top notch but rnough for standard office Apps.

Thanks.

You chaps are really knowledgeable so here goes.

I'm looking to source a TV which can be used in a conference room. It needs to be able to replicate or cast from a laptop so people can present on it but also be used for zoom / Teams calls.

The presentation part is slightly easier as I think we can just get a long HDMI cable with the relevant adapter. The zoom part is more difficult. Would it be better to just use the laptops in built zoom etc and cast that or try to get a tv with it all built in.

Size wise, I think 55" should be enough.

Thanks for any advice.
