Hi Jack,
I am really sad to hear your bad news. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Pete was an absolute rock in the dMw community and was a driving force behind maintaining the Counter Strike community. His updates as CS Game Leader at the LAN Council meetings were typically " CS is doing great, everyone is happy, no problems to report, who wants a beer?" A testament to his leadership and enthusiasm for the game.
An enduring memory is of him winning one of the early LAN poker nights. He confided in me the next morning that he was so drunk while winning the tournament, that he didn't actually know what card game he was playing!
A true gent and I will miss him dearly.
