Last night while playing on the TG server I experienced the IFF problem. On Karkand and Mashtuur.

The strange thing was and this is a question for Norm really did you stay on and play the Sharqi Map? I looked on the player list but could not see your name but there you were playing as MEC Spec Op but the tag above your head was red thoughout the game even though I was on the MEC side? Or were you? I wish I had taken a screenshot!

Great server I just wish the pings were a bit lower.

Yip I was there, went for a break and returned to be shot by you several times, even though you where on my side :lmfao:  ;) .It seems very frequent on TG not so much on dMw.The only fix is to restart for the person who's name shows red I think. When on TG it is wise to explain your actions,as a kick may result if they think your tea cakeing. :) Although pings are high 130-150 I find it very smooth game play tbh,and because its not spikes it feels ok,shooting at fast targets is a guess though, just shoot slightly ahead of it. :)

I have experienced it on dMw and it went away after the person respawned ;)

I had another variety yesterday on a ranked server.

It was on Wake Island. I was USMC SL, hiding on the beach as a spawn point, when a MEC soldier (with the apropiate red tag) suddenly shows up in front of me. He's just standing there looking at me, so I pop him a few in the head killing him. Then I get a SQUAD message from him 'What the hell are you doing??'... I explained that he had a red tag, but didn't get a reply. Then he showed up again, throwing med packs at me, and then joined the action fighting against the MEC. I looked at my squad list - he wasn't there. Then I looked at the player list and saw that he was listed as a MEC player. Now that explains the red tag, but not why he could SQUAD message me?!? Really weird :)

And the funny thing was that every time MEC killed him, they of course got teamkills  :P

I've experienced this from both perspectives...I've been the fella with the red tag

Norm shot me, and the conversation went pretty much like yours...he told me that he could see me listed on the other sides roster as well...

I've also seen Sn00ks as red when he was on my side...we had the conversation too after I shot him:P

But, How about this...

a couple of nights ago, playing on TG, I saw vehicles driving round with a red tag and a blue tag at the same time...

I mushed the keyboard for a screeny, but I've just checked and there's not 1 there....I was very "tired and emotional" so I guess I pressed the wrong key :(
