Liberator, I was wondering, now that you have had a look at the maps in detail, is there a way to port the SF maps to the regular BF2 format? Or can we just cut/paste them to the BF2 map folder?

In a long term view this might seem stupid, since we all will have SF in the new year, but for now I must admit that imho SF isn't as fun as 'vanilla' BF2. I miss the all out battle. Also I can feel the impact of the higher PC specs needed.I have to drop a resolution to keep same FPS. So just a theoretical question if it actually can be done...?

Even if most people will have SF after Christmas, I still enjoy the old maps (i've not actually played SF online yet). I don't suppose there's any way to put bothg lots of maps in the same rotation with the correct characters and stuff still is there? I know not everyone (me included) has two optical drives, but would it be possible if for example you had the BF2 disk in one drive and the SF disk in t'other? Given that you need the original to play the expansion, maybe it's possible if some of the resources from the bf2 folder get shifted over to the expansion folder?
