After a bit of a false start with track selection this combo is beginning to shape up nicely. (IMO :)) I'm fairly certain that a refuel will be necessary as the FOX has only a 38 litre fuel tank. :norty:

Yep. Certainly different. A bit pitty that there is no engine heat implemented yet. I bet it might become an issue otherwise because you go flat out most of the track.

The fuel capacity is indeed bit small. It is very close if you could do it without refuelling.

About the track, I went on the server on Fri and it had changed from aston cadet with the fox to kyoto with the RACeabit thingy *stares at Doorman*. Everyone was moaning including me, so I changed it back to the fox but left the track.

But I think the combo is ok, not really much effort and the corners seem to flow nicely but the car can suddenly lose it, especially if you touch a kerb, the downforce goes as soon as your sideways and it's all over.

Ah yes, you see, it's basically because you're all a bunch of moaners! You moan up until Tuesday then you stop moaning, then you start moaning again on Friday!
As some once said, "You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time"...................Or something.

Lol, do the words pot, kettle and black mean anything?

It seems I cant make this one guys. At least not if you start early. I will check in on Vent if I get home before 2300 (yours 10pm)

There might be a possibillity that I can race but not qualify

The change in start times isn't for tonight but for future races.

Nobody wanna talk about it huh? For my part, got a good start but punted off in turn one. Picked myself up, dusted myself off and set off in pursuit. Sure enough I met a few wounded warriors along the way and was quite enjoying myself. Then LFS got up and bit me! After about 35 minutes the second chicane, which I'd been taking very nicely all race long, suddenly changed direction and caused an almighty crash! My head is still spinning.
Well done to the finishers, especially Delankster who did his first long race with us. Well done Vobler on a very convincing win. :yahoo:

Err, I put 60% fuel in with 50% for a halfishway pit stop and my plan was to stay on the track and avoid any damage or being stuck in the gravel.

Well the plan failed as I went off about five times and hit the other pit wall at the tyre chicane on too many occasions damaging my suspension a bit more on every hit. I pitted earlier than planned so put up the fuel % a bit to compensate, a bit too much though as I left the pit with a full tank and promptly stuffed it into the other pit wall at the tyre chicane on my out lap :ranting2:

I struggled round for a bit until 20 mins to the finish where I pitted again to fix the suspension damage and as I was nowhere in the race anymore I went for some hotlaps and stuffed it into the other pit wall at the tyre chicane on my out lap and bent the front suspension

I hardly saw anyone else and didn't get to race anyone. I'm not surprised that no one has posted a report as it was a forgettable event.

Aquilifer

Nice to hear you were having fun.

My ISP decided to censor my race before it even started. It is surprising how much withdrawal symptoms you can get for 2 days without net.
