Quote from: Dr Sadako;264139I would rather say it is even more important to use team play as zombies. Not only coordinated attacks are important but successful attacks are even more important. With spawn time at 20 seconds it is really important to make the most of the attack and spawn in a good spot. You spawning and just being shot within seconds will not help your team at all. It is just a waste of respawn time and you haven't inflicted any damage.

I find the zombie side way more tactical than the survivor side.

I didn't explain myself well I guess. Zombies have less they can 'do'. Smokers have a long tongue and create gas clouds when they die. Boomers puke and blow up in a spray of puke when they die etc etc. So your options are limited as to exactly what you do. When you do it however is I agree an entirely different matter, as is who you do it to. So yes tactics are important. And co-ordinated tactics for zombies can be devastating.  I just find that with the addition of the NPC zombies and the very fact that you do have a respawn where as the humans don't means zombies get many chances to take out the survivors. The survivors cannot really afford to ever break away and go solo or ignore the state of their colleagues. Once they are down they are out, unless rescued. Zombies never stop coming. So the respawn I agree does make it seem less important to get it right but it also means that getting it wrong isn't a game breaker like four survivors running off in different directions.

Plus I'd argue that having voice limited so that the two sides cannot hear each other is far better. It would be impossible to spring a trap on the survivors without some verbal planning. When I know I'm being heard by the other side I naturally shut up and don't broadcast where I'm going to attack from. We do need voice comms set this way IMHO if we want to see the zombies really planning their attacks together.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

The voice chat symbol also shows which person is talking, and can sometimes give away a infected (hunter) laying in wait.
