Cake: Four large eggs. One cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Three/four cups butter or margarine. One and two third cups granulated sugar. Two cups all purpose flour. Fish shaped ethyl benzene. Twelve medium geosynthetic membranes. Three tablespoons rhubarb, on fire.

And you waste that on playing wow... shame on you. :P

Really nice rig :thumb:

Did you not consider Raid'ing a pair of SSDs?

Yeah, but at nearly Ã,£300 each it's not something that I really need. 15 second boot time (after post) is fast enough for me :D

It was a laptop, and it is spoken for.

It was worth a try ;)

What PSU are you using?
I'm licking my lips at this thread:dribble:

This PSU

The only issue I have with it is the lead length is a little short as fitted in the case I can't route the mobo power connectors to my liking.

Apart from the Titan Fenrir, what case cooling have you got?
*wonders whether I could cram it all into my case*
/daydream:rolleyes:
edit: just noticed fans included with case

yeah, there are six fans in the case. Two in the roof, two exhaust at the rear and two at the bottom blowing across the HDD bay area. It's a stunning case, and one I intend to keep for many upgrades. It's always worth getting the best case you can as they will last a long time.

Removable mobo tray too helps a lot!

fr.giulio

Hi Gandalf.
I'm Fr. Giulio Marcone (a friar) from Italy.
I've got your same system: same cpu, same MotherBoard, same Memory Kit.

I've got 2 questions for you:
I noticed that your system reports (like mine) 6135 Mb of ram, but should't it be 6144? (1024x6)...

Another question:
I'm running a simple O.C. (3,2Ghz) with it.
If i change cooler (titan fenrir is not sold in Italy, which one can I use?) and psu, can I try your same O.C.?
Can you send me your bios profile?

Finally,
I've got a little trouble since 6 weeks:
every morning, when I turn on the pc for the first time, it logs in Windows but some seconds after, I get a BSoD with code 1A.

The next auto restart makes the pc stable, and I can use it for hours.
But the next day, when I turn it on another time... I've to wait first start -> BSOD -> second start...

Can you suggest me what could cause this error?
I've already run MemTest86+, OCCT, Everest and they say ALL OK...

Thank you, and sorry for my bad english...
