So it's almost Christmas time but what should you buy?

Heres my recommendations.

Feel free to add yours.

We could even have a chat about them on ts if you like? :D

1. BF3

Amazing visuals and a cracking game. Bit steep at £39.99 but the single player and multiplayer are spectaculiar. Make sure you have a semi-decent pc before getting on the bandwagon though!

2. Batman Arkham City-If its ever released!

I saw this a few months ago and it looks like a dlc for the original with some steam forum specualtion saying its 40 hours gameplay just to collect trophies and 4-6 to finish the storyline it is still my no.2. Although will it ever be released on pc with 2 pushbacks I hope so!

3. LA Noire- Complete Edition

As Christmas draws neaer and with Turkey and the trimmings expected I simply need a game I can sit there and click the mouse. Keyboard and mouse is too much effort! :P. This seems to fit the bill an adult detective sim which has had me interested since its console release. Luckily for us we get all the dlc's for free in the price! If your looking for a budget game go get your dusty cluedo board out of the cupboard under the stairs! Otherwise it looks like a winner :)

4.Orc's must die

Waiting for the plants versus zombies board game? Need some more brainz? Well this is for you. Its a tower defense like sim really fun and cheap! It's steam only so it's not on amazon. Met the developers at a recent games convention. Multiplayer looks fun too!

5. Skyrim (Elder Scrolls v)

Wondering around RL looking for horses and food? Need to join a fighters guild? Well here it is Elder Scrolls is back. Enjoy :)

6.i am alive.

Originally announced back in 2008 its due for release this side of xmas. Looks good. Walking dead meets i am legend with a touch of escape from new york!

7. Adventures of Tintin

I grew up on this and hoping its going to be a cracking game. Hopefully won't be a failure but I could be wrong!

8. Stars Wars Old Republic-

It's almost here. Feel the force or is that Toby trying to control my mind again? :P

9. Assassins Creed Revelations

This seems to be a constant series. Its lower down the list because theres just too many dequels but it could be a great game!

10. MW3

Ok I am a cod fan boy guess I always will be. The singleplayer is a rehash of mw2 but its like an adrenaline ride. Explosions, varying environments albeit some from older games but this is possibly the best one yet. It even brings the series home to the UK! Some controversial scenes however but overall a great experience!

Every Xmas I run through the Four Episodes of Wallace & Gromits Grand Adventure. A point and click puzzle game but captures the animated films wonderfully. Not very Xmassy but then neither is The Great Escape and that's on every Xmas too.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

T-Bag

I was sure BF3 was going to hit steam just before launch, but since it didn't that's gone on the back burned for me.

Batman looks to be great, it's a shame that it's been pushed back a couple of times, but in no way does it look to me like DLC. Much like Assassins Creed where not many of the core mechanics change but new environments and tweaks are made this is a distinct game from every trailer I've seen.

L.A Noire doesn't hold much appeal for me. When it first hit consoles I was dying to jump in and have ago, but as time moved on my interest waned. It doesn't have the appeal of a GTA game for me such that they can make me wait that long and still get a full price sale. I'll see what happens in the steam sales.

Orcs must die looks entertaining, but I've got too much on my plate to dive into that right now. Again I'll wait for a sale down the line.

Skyrim is amazing. Anyone who doesn't have this already should put it in the number one slot in their list immediately. There are issues that bug me with the UI (fingers crossed for a patch) but the game as a whole is a must play.

First I've seen of "I am alive". Looks good from that trailer, but I don't know anywhere near enough about it to say any more than that.

Tin Tin. Again looks good, but this is the first I've heard of it.

Old Republic being a bioware game will almost certainly be good but hasn't made my must buy list as I haven't spent too long playing any of the other star wars games I own despite them being generally well received.

Assassins Creed is on my to buy list.

MW3 I've already got. Skyrim is just taking up all my time so I still haven't played multiplayer on it yet. Still it's worth having at a sensible price.
Juggling Hard Disks over concrete floors ends in tears 5% of the time.

Tutonic

I've played Orcs Must Die - it's great fun, I recommend it.
Hero of the Battle Of Chalkeia
"Don\'t worry, none of this blood is mine"

TE_owner

I have just got tooooo much on my plate atm (getting to the top rank on Bf3 before anyone else who doesn't boost :))

Skyrim is a certain buy for me but waiting for it for Christmas
it\'s not my fault if every one runs into my sights :D:byebye::roflmao:
