9gag? They are well known for ripping off everyone's contnet, slapping their watermark and calling it their original work. Most their posting "rules" are directly copy pasted from reddit.

'They' are just people on Facebook etc. It's a copy+paste culture, so yes most of the stuff is not original and it's filled with reposts and all that xD
