Unturned (Free game which is really fun)

[Dexterous]

It's on Steam and it's effectively a cross between Day Z and Minecraft, it's in early access so there will be the occasional bug but you can do stuff like modify your weapons (crossbow, sniper, shotgun etc.) and interact with other players while surviving as long as you can. I only got it today but once you get into it is really enjoyable and if anyone else is/will be playing it then feel free to add me (My name is The Dexterous Shadow).

Basically it's got access to the steam workshop and you can host a dedicated server on it. The graphical style is like that of Minecraft and its gameplay is like DayZ. When you spawn you can use a /kit insert word here if you've got the workshop plugins to give you the basic tools. You have to survive the zombies but you can build your house (with the right materials) and you can upgrade your skills (such as crafting) to create more elaborate items. As well as surviving zombies an interesting element to the game is surviving other players. They can find your base and raid it for items and kill you if need be. I recommend reading into the game as it seems like something that could be really fun for everyone (I've certainly had fun playing it).
